United Kenya
our story
When a Story Dies,
A Nation Loses its Soul.
Founded in 2025, So Tribal Foundation was established to bridge the gap between historical heritage and modern identity. Our work spans all 47 counties, documenting the oral histories, artisanal crafts, and social structures that define the Kenyan spirit.
We operate at the intersection of institutional research and grassroots community engagement, ensuring that the wisdom of our ancestors is accessible to the generations of tomorrow.
Our Mission
To document, preserve, celebrate, and showcase Kenya’s cultural richness through year‑round programmes and a landmark national festival that engages every Kenyan, regardless of tribe, age, or county.

Cultural Preservation
Protecting languages, oral histories, traditions, music, attire, cuisine, and indigenous knowledge before they disappear.

National Unity
Building bridges between communities through shared cultural experiences and inter‑tribal understanding.

Youth & Education
Empowering young Kenyans to reconnect with their heritage through schools, workshops, and cultural literacy programmes.

Community Empowerment
Supporting artisans, storytellers, elders, performers, and cultural custodians through recognition and opportunity.

Digital Heritage

Legacy in Every
Stitch
Our research goes beyond the surface. We study the geometry of beadwork, the mathematics of weaving, and the linguistics of song. This is the intellectual heritage of Kenya.
