For generations, the oral traditions of Kenya’s 42+ tribes were the bedrock of our national identity. Today, those voices are growing faint.
So Tribal Foundation is a Kenyan cultural organisation dedicated to preserving and celebrating the heritage of all Kenyan tribes while promoting national unity and intergenerational cultural pride.
Founded in 2025, the Foundation works across all 47 counties through cultural documentation, youth empowerment, storytelling, community engagement, heritage education, and the annual So Tribal Cultural Festival.
We believe Kenya’s diversity is not a weakness to overcome — it is our greatest national treasure.
